Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf is facing a hard time to live upto its promises and to the expectations of its voters. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is undoubtedly a difficult province, one with the plethora of chronic challenges of complex dynamics, among which the uncontrollable monster of terrorism tops the list. However, the promising PTI government with the slogan of “Naya Pakistan” and an all new change has little to show and more to hide at the moment. And it seems that in case of good governance they are well stuck with the inherent problem of ‘easier said than done’. The allegations took a notch up when Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Chief Minister Pervez Khattak last week appointed 10 lawmakers as advisers and special assistants who will enjoy ministerial-level powers and are entitled to the same facilities.Awami National Party (ANP) Information Secretary Mian Iftikhar Hussain expressed his concern and resentment over the appointment of these 10 new advisers and assistants. According to him the PTI government was failing to bring good governance in the province of KPK, which is already engulfed by multiple challenges.
